Pet parents are taking steps to insure Fido has a helper should the unthinkable occurr such as an unexpected hospitalization or worse. Are your Pets covered should anything happen to you?

Many pets end up in shelters because of life situations. Start making a care plan today.
  1. Appoint a Care Giver, give them a key to your place along with instructions.
  2. Have a Home Alone Pet Card on you at all times so folks will know who to call to step up.
  3. Prepare an Authorization Form, sign it and save it along with feeding, care and medication instructions for your back up. Save it to a Google Document so it's always accessible.
  4. Add your emergency contact information to your micro chip company information on file.

We never want to our loving companion stranded with out an advocate.

When it's Time to Re-Home?

10/11/2015

Meet Cooper, he's an AKC registered Wheaten Terrier and a very docile, easy going guy for an Adult and not a good candidate for kids.

What do you do when you feel you must re-home your Dog or Cat ?  You've tried everything, including training and it's just not a good fit?  You want to begin the process of interviewing the next best candidate and you want to insure they fill out contracts and agree to site visits prior to handing over your Dog!

The heartache is real for many humans facing this decision and I want to insure their Furry Friend is moving to a safe and loving new home.

1. Always  insist on Contractual relinquishing, no exceptions, ever!
2. Insist on a back-ground check, always.
3. Do a site visit, always.

A Note From Cooper's Human, Michelle:

Cooper is a gorgeous purebred AKC registered #WheatenTerrier needing a new home.  Cooper is completely house trained, well behaved and knows many commands like sit, stay, heel, come. His trainer is willing to be of some assistance to his next owner to ease them into the transition. He is extremely loyal and loving, he enjoys playing with his toys and going for walks. Cooper needs a very special home, as he can become protective of his home and people.
Because of his protective issues Cooper will not be placed into a home with children.  His ideal home would be an experienced dog owner, living in a home without a lot of visitors . Cooper is only 2 1/2 years old , very laid back and happy to be comfy curled up in a  couch or on his bed . If you think Cooper would be a good match for you please reach out to me and we can plan a meeting!
